We announce Datathons regularly. Join the list and we’ll notify you the moment registration opens.
What You’ll Leave With
You’ll leave with work you can show, skills you can reuse, and feedback that levels you up fast.
A Portfolio Project
A complete analysis or model with a clear narrative and visuals.
Real Data Practice
Work with real-world messiness: missing values, bias, and tradeoffs.
Team Collaboration
Split roles like analysts do: data, modeling, viz, and storytelling.
Mentor Feedback
Improve methodology, clarity, and presentation before final submission.

You’re Not Doing This Alone
Mentors and structure help you move faster, make better decisions, and produce cleaner work.

Judging Made Clear
Teams are evaluated on insight quality and execution—not buzzwords.
Problem Framing
Clear question, strong assumptions, and why it matters.
Method Quality
Sound approach, proper validation, and responsible handling of data.
Clarity of Insights
Findings are understandable, meaningful, and well-supported.
Story & Visuals
Strong narrative, clean charts, and decision-ready communication.
Practical Impact
Recommendations are realistic and tied to outcomes.
Reproducibility
Clear documentation so others can follow the work.
Prizes note: Prize details vary by event and sponsor. Full details are shared before the datathon begins.

Brand Trust
Position your organization as a supporter of data literacy and innovation.
Innovation Output
Get practical insights, dashboards, or prototype models tied to your theme.
Do I need to be a data scientist to join?
No. Datathons have roles beyond modeling—data cleaning, analysis, visualization, storytelling, and presentation. If you can work with data (or want to learn fast), you’ll contribute.
Can I join solo, or do I need a team?
You can join solo. We support team matching so teams can balance skills (analysis, modeling, visualization, and storytelling). If you already have a team, register together.
What do we deliver by the end of the datathon?
A clear, decision-ready output: insights and visuals, and sometimes a simple model (depending on the event). You’ll submit your work and present your story on demo day.
What tools are we allowed to use?
Most datathons allow common tools like Python/R, notebooks, Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau)—the exact rules are shared per event. Use what helps you deliver clean, explainable results.
How is judging done?
Teams are judged on methodology and clarity—not buzzwords. Expect scoring on problem framing, quality of analysis/modeling, validity of insights, storytelling/visuals, practicality, and reproducibility. Full criteria are shared before kickoff.
