About the Role

Marketing Executive

CODED — The First Tech & AI Academy in the Arab World

About CODED

CODED is the first tech and AI academy in the Arab world, and the region's go-to place for technology and AI education. We build real technical capability — software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and emerging technologies — across individuals, youth, and enterprises.

What we are building is talent density. Not headcount. Not volume. A concentrated pool of genuinely exceptional people, inside CODED and across the market we serve.

We only aspire to work with people who are excellent at what they do, and who raise the standard of everyone around them.

The Role: Marketing Executive

The Marketing Executive is the person who takes a campaign mandate and makes it real — the idea, the words, the visuals, the video, the distribution.

The Marketing Manager sets the mandate: the objective, the segment, the budget, the number. This role builds everything that delivers it.

This is a creative-first, AI-native execution role. You will use AI tools and agents daily — to research, to write, to design, to visualise concepts, to produce video, and to move faster than a traditional marketing team ever could. We expect that to be second nature, not something you are willing to learn.

Above all, this is a writing role. Copy is the single most important thing here.

Three domains:

  1. Copy & Campaign Creation
  2. Content Production — Video, Motion & AI-Assisted Design
  3. Social, Distribution & Performance

I. Copy & Campaign Creation (Core Domain)

Copy is the heart of this role. Everything we sell is a decision someone makes about their future, and the words are what move them.

  • Write copy that actually converts — hooks, captions, ad copy, landing pages, emails, scripts, event messaging
  • Write in both Arabic and English, and switch register naturally between a 16-year-old, a career switcher, and an HR director
  • Turn campaign mandates into concrete campaign plans: concept, message, channel mix, timeline, assets
  • Develop the creative angle and narrative for each campaign, tuned to its segment
  • Build and own the content calendar across all platforms
  • Manage campaign timelines and dependencies so nothing ships late
  • Report on what worked, what did not, and what you would change

Objective: the message lands, in the right language, with the right person.

II. Content Production — Video, Motion & AI-Assisted Design

  • Produce short-form video content end to end: concept, script, shoot, edit, publish
  • Create animations and motion graphics that make content stop the scroll
  • Use AI tools to design, generate, and visualise concepts — mood boards, storyboards, visuals, variants — at speed
  • Build and run AI agents and automations that remove repetitive work from the marketing function
  • Write clear, specific creative briefs for the brand and design team — no vague asks
  • Work granularly with designers, editors, and creators through production, and review their output against the brief
  • Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across every asset

Objective: high volume, high quality, produced fast — because you know the tools.

III. Social, Distribution & Performance

  • Own posting and distribution across every owned channel: Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, email, web, community
  • Stay genuinely current with social trends, formats, and platform behaviour — and act on them within days, not months
  • Plan, build, and manage paid campaigns on Meta and other platforms
  • Handle audience targeting, retargeting, budget pacing, and creative testing
  • Monitor lead volume and lead quality daily, and adjust before budget is wasted
  • Report performance with clear numbers: reach, engagement, cost per lead, conversion
  • Feed learnings back into the next campaign

Objective: good work gets seen by the right people, at a cost that makes sense.

Why This Role Is Critical

A campaign mandate is worthless without someone who can write it, build it, film it, and ship it. This role is the bridge between marketing strategy and everything the market actually sees.

Without it:

  • Strategy stays in a document.
  • The creative team gets vague briefs and produces generic work.
  • Paid spend runs without a campaign behind it.

What We're Looking For

The non-negotiables

  • Exceptional copywriting. You can write, and you can prove it. Arabic and English both.
  • High creativity. You bring ideas, angles, and formats — you do not wait to be handed a concept.
  • Native Kuwaiti accent, with the ability to write and speak naturally to a Kuwaiti audience
  • Tech savvy and AI-native. You already use AI tools and agents daily and can show exactly how.

Experience

  • 3–5 years in marketing with hands-on campaign management experience
  • Deep, current knowledge of social media trends and platform formats
  • Video content production: concept, script, shoot, edit
  • Animation and motion graphics capability
  • AI tools for design, ideation, and concept visualisation (Midjourney, Runway, Firefly, Sora, ChatGPT/Claude, or equivalent)
  • Practical performance marketing: Meta Ads Manager, audience building, retargeting, budget management
  • Comfortable in production tools — Figma, CapCut, Adobe suite, Notion

How you work

  • Analytical enough to read performance data and act on it
  • Organised and proactive; can run multiple campaigns at once under deadline pressure
  • Fast — you ship, review, and improve rather than polishing forever
  • Comfortable receiving a mandate and owning everything below it

A portfolio is required. Bring campaigns, copy, video, motion work, and AI-assisted visuals. We will read the writing closely.

This is a role for a creative marketer who writes brilliantly, thinks in ideas, and has already made AI part of how they work.
