Senior Technical Instructor

Kuwait

About CODED

CODED is the first tech and AI academy in the Arab world, and the region's go-to place for technology and AI education. We build real technical capability — software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and emerging technologies — across individuals, youth, and enterprises.

What we are building is talent density. Not headcount. Not volume. A concentrated pool of genuinely exceptional people, inside CODED and across the market we serve.

We only aspire to work with people who are excellent at what they do, and who raise the standard of everyone around them.

About the Role

Senior Technical Instructor — Enterprise AI, Data & Automation

CODED — The First Tech & AI Academy in the Arab World

The Role: Senior Technical Instructor

A bank does not send fifteen managers on a three-day analytics programme to be told what a dashboard is. They send them because something in the business is not being measured properly, and someone has promised that within three days their people will be able to measure it.

That promise is kept or broken by one person standing at the front of the room.

This is who we are hiring. Someone who has personally built the thing they are teaching — the dashboard, the automated approval flow, the AI assistant that reads intake forms and routes them — and who can teach it to a room of working professionals who go back to their desks on Monday and need it to run.

This is a delivery-first role for a practising technologist, not a presenter with slides. Our trainees are capable professionals who are not developers, so you will be explaining things plainly — while building live, fixing what breaks in front of the room, and helping each person adapt what they learn to their own systems. That requires knowing how these tools actually work underneath, not how to click through a tutorial.

When programmes are not running, you are not idle. You build the labs, demonstrations and assessments the next programme needs, and you keep CODED's enterprise content current as the tools change.

I. Corporate Programme Delivery (Core Domain)

  • Independently prepare, customise and deliver corporate programmes, workshops and technical labs for enterprise clients
  • Adapt a standard course outline to a specific client's business, data and tools before delivery
  • Build and demonstrate live: dashboards, automated workflows, AI assistants and integrations
  • Diagnose and fix problems on the spot — broken connections, failed triggers, permissions, data that does not match the lab
  • Explain the reasoning behind every step so trainees can rebuild it on their own systems with their own tools
  • Teach responsible use: what gets logged, what gets validated, where a human must approve, what could go wrong with client data
  • Deliver executive awareness sessions where senior framing is needed
  • Support Business Development on technical discovery and feasibility — what we can credibly promise a client, and what we cannot
  • Teach selected bootcamp modules and first iterations where senior technical delivery adds value

Objective: every client gets a programme built for their business, delivered by someone who could do the work themselves.

II. Curriculum, Labs & Assessment

  • Build and improve slides, exercises, hands-on labs, assessment rubrics and instructor guides
  • Create reusable enterprise examples and datasets that other instructors can teach from
  • Review technical accuracy across the Professionals Segment's materials
  • Flag and fix curriculum steps that vendor platform updates have broken
  • Support other instructors' technical development and readiness
  • Document what went wrong in delivery, and what was changed because of it

Objective: what you build once is delivered well by whoever teaches it next.

III. Technical Depth & Readiness

  • Test emerging tools and report what has genuinely changed — and what has not
  • Build prototype demonstrations ahead of client demand, not in response to it
  • Maintain your own certification currency in your specialist track
  • Own a documented content and research backlog, reviewed with your manager

Objective: CODED's enterprise teaching stays current without waiting for a client to ask.

Why This Role Is Critical

Today, a signed corporate programme depends on which external specialist happens to be available that month. Quality moves with availability, and the content starts from scratch each time.

This role ends that. It is the difference between selling a programme we hope to staff and selling one we know we can deliver.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical work in enterprise AI, data analytics, Microsoft 365 / Power Platform, or workflow automation. Three to four years with exceptional project ownership will be considered.
  • 3+ years teaching adults or professionals. Two years of substantial corporate delivery with strong evidence will be considered.
  • Advanced depth in at least one of: Data & BI (Excel analytics, Power BI, DAX, SQL, Python, data modelling) · Microsoft & Automation (Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Automate, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, APIs) · Applied AI (LLMs, enterprise AI assistants, agents, RAG, evaluation)
  • Practical competence across the other two. We will assess which is which — tell us honestly where you are strong.
  • You have personally built solutions in your specialist track, for an organisation, not only in training. You can describe one end to end: the business problem, what you built, how you verified it worked, and something that broke and how you fixed it.
  • You have personally taught current technical content to a professional or corporate audience — not coordinated training delivered by someone else.
  • Working SQL and Python, REST APIs, and the ability to troubleshoot a technical lab live
  • A practical grasp of data handling, permissions, access control and responsible AI use. You do not need to be a security specialist.
  • Two relevant, verifiable technical credentials, at least one at intermediate or advanced level. Attendance certificates do not count. Strong candidates holding one are welcome to apply and will be reviewed on their evidence.
  • Excellent professional English, written and spoken
  • A related bachelor's degree, or exceptional verifiable technical work in its place
  • Based in Kuwait and able to deliver on-site, including programmes that run in the evening

An Advantage, Not a Requirement

  • Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer)
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), or a recognised train-the-trainer qualification
  • Current Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, AWS or Google Cloud credentials
  • SC-900, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
  • Arabic alongside English — strongly preferred, not required
  • Experience teaching banks, financial institutions or government entities specifically
  • Microsoft Fabric, n8n, Make, or RPA platform experience
  • A portfolio we can look at: dashboards, workflow exports, demo videos, repositories, labs you wrote, or client case write-ups

How To Apply

Send your CV and one piece of evidence — a dashboard, a workflow export, a lab or course outline you wrote, a short walkthrough video, or a written description of one solution you built: the problem, what you built, how you confirmed it worked, and what you did when it broke.

A list of tools under "Skills" is not evidence. We read the evidence first.
